£200 million refinance deal

HDG Mansur has refinanced a portfolio of properties in the UK worth over £200 million, through Deutsche Postbank AG, London Branch. The portfolio totals over 1.2 million sq ft of commercial and warehouse buildings and new properties are actively being sought to add to the portfolio.

The transaction involves the re-investment of £200 million on behalf of one of HDG Mansur's funds. The property portfolio comprises eight office locations and one warehouse across the UK, including a four-building portfolio in Guildford, Surrey.

HDG Mansur is a market leader in Islamic real estate finance. By consolidating all of these properties into the same portfolio, HDG Mansur will be able to add new properties to the fund at a competitive interest margin.

Chairman and CEO of HDG Mansur, Harold D. Garrison said: "With the recent surge of Middle Eastern money into the real estate investment market due to favourable oil prices, HDG Mansur is seeking to increase its portfolio. This refinance deal follows HDG Mansur's strategy for growth in the European market. We will continue to seek quality leased office and distribution buildings with added value potential."

In the last 24 months, HDG Mansur has advised its clients in the acquisition of global properties worth in excess of £800 million.
